tcg.one Launch: New Home for Cards, Formats, Decks, Career and Leaderboards
- tcg.one: TCG ONE now has a brand-new home on https://tcg.one, with a rebuilt homepage plus the card database, expansions, deck builder, deck garage, and full career mode moved over to the new site.
- Career Mode Rebuilt: Career got a big front-end pass with a new start flow, booster opening, richer inventory and crafting sheets, pack store improvements, achievement/quest support, and cleaner transactions/progress views.
- Deck Garage & Editor Overhaul: The new deck experience now includes page-based browsing, better search and filters, deck voting and badges, public deck suggestions, longer deck names, richer import/export options, mobile editing, surfaced random/import tools, and much smoother editor layout/controls.
- Leaderboards & Ranked Seasons: Added new leaderboard and ranked season pages, with cleaner score displays and dedicated links from the main site.
- Search & Card Browsing Upgrades: Card and deck search now support partial-name matching, advanced filters, sorting improvements, richer card detail pages, expansion ordering, and stronger format browsing.
- Animation & Feedback Tuning: Game animations were sped up by 33%, prompt sounds now play when the window is unfocused, and energy type icons got a fresh sprite update.
- New Notification system! It supports persistent notifications and toast notifications on homepage.
- New export deck format support for multiple formats.
- Card data and search internals were streamlined with static data loading, cache improvements, and endpoint cleanup.
- Out of memory and lag issues of the play server were largely fixed.
- Since the initial release, many of the critical integration issues have been resolved. Thank you for providing feedback during this time (particularly on Feedback thread for the new TCG.ONE website). I’ve incorporated some of your valuable feedback, if not all, but there might still be some important issues or usability / functionality gaps that I have missed in my focus that are worth reiterating. The long term goal is to move functionalities except game view to this new platform.
- Please note that this is still a work in progress. Some issues may still persist, please report them if you encounter any. Thank you for your patience and support!
- Regarding version numbers, we now feature version numbers derived from the day of the release rather than a specific version number. This makes it quite easier for me to roll out new versions, which is critical for faster development cycles of the platform.
- Next up: Custom Formats and more!
Best,
