I also have a full time job, family and kids and it sounds like theres too much over commitment of time and youre being spread thing. I plan on running irl retro tournaments but my family comes first. Im glad there is recognition of the communication issues here but not the next step has to happen. Keep the communication going. If this is going to have lets say 8 months of silence then its just they cycle. Back to square one. Also financial transparency should be prioritized. If youre getting public funding let the public know how its being used. You also mention youre the single active developer. Why? I feel like thats the crux of a lot of issues here. Last thing is you stated you wont respond to hateful comments. Is that someting that has happened? Unless ive missed a post or some dmād some rude stuff I havent seen anything hateful said.
@admin Iām glad to see a reply to the communityās concerns! Thanks for the communication. And yes, many formats have been added to TCGONE over the last year, which have not been reflected in the current objectives because they were removed from the list (with the exception of 2009).
A question: by āhelp to pay some project bills,ā do you mean youāre still paying for some of the serverās operating costs out-of-pocket?
One takeaway Iām getting is that there would be more volunteers for the site if there werenāt as many restrictions on who can contribute to what. I mentioned a possible coder, BestPalAl, and Odysseus suggested there are many others.
The other takeaway is that tournaments on TCGONE are difficult to run, not only because of bugs, but because of unexpected site maintenance periods. The latter can be easily avoided by giving due notice of future updatesā¦ @Odysseus , would you say notifying the community a week in advance would be sufficient warning for future tournament organizers to plan their events around?
I look forward to seeing 2010 implemented and one of the three current objectives struck off the list. If you have a spare hour or two after sorting out the last of the bugs, you could implement as many of the following formats as possible (In this order) to greatly increase the appeal of the website: Prop 15/3, Base-Rocket, Sun and Moon through Lost Thunder, Base Set through Skyridge, Primal Clash through Guardians Rising, Mysterious Dawn through Call of Legends, and e-card. (And you could fix 2019 Worlds format by removing every set from Sun and Moon through Crimson Invasion and every promo from SM1 to SM93, since right now it is more like Sun and Moon Series than the actual 2019 Worlds format.)

Iāve decided to remove my Pateron payments because while I got a reply, Iām still not convinced that anything is going to change.
Iām going to address the elephant in the room. Because youāre not allowing anyone to run this site except you, this site is essentially dying. I feel like Iām paying only you for you to keep the site up, but not to update it at all because there is no incentive to update it. Itās basically your cash cow. Itās a steady income for you.
However, that isnāt going to last if you donāt allow others to join your admin team. You are ālooking for volunteersā, but I have yet to see you accept any, especially when it comes to help run your site.
Look at all the people who care about the site here. I can bet you ALL of them want to help. However, Iāve not seen you contact any of them. Axpendix, I was careful to intentionally say that I was willing to help and see if you were going to contact me. You did not. This proves to me that youāre not serious about helpā¦ yet.
I am more than willing to become a Patreon supporter and volunteer, but thatās up to you. Start by implementing Prop 15/3 into quickplay. Start by contacting volunteers. Start by letting others access the coding (open it up).
Otherwise, I canāt take you seriously yet.
