The first printing press wasn’t invented until 1440, so it was not possible to make Pokémon cards before then.

The game kinda sucked for another 989 years after that. Literally 0 people played it. Then in 1999, its popularity shot through the stratsophere.

The format should be out in a matter of time. It’s already available to create decks in, and the only set that hasn’t been completely added to the site is platinum supreme victors. One of my absolute favorite formats! My Gengar/Dusknoir deck is my favorite.
