I think I a Neo only format could be cool where the power of trainers & Pokemon are way lower leading to more creative decks

I’ve tried this, but Neo doesn’t really work well as a block. The card draw (Elm and Bill’s Teleporter) is so weak that it is overshadowed by Cleffa’s Eeeeeek, and the entire format becomes more Cleffa based than even Base–Neo and Rocket–LC.

hey there folks, custom formats feature has just been released. you can now build/define neo only format (query=set:neo-*) or any other variant. i’m closing this topic, thanks for your interest.
