v46.6 Patch Notes

Major updates

  • General Changes
    • Multiple attack effects (specially “At the end of the next turn _____ will be Knocked Out”, and similar ones) are now targeted; this means that whenever a card is inmune to effects, they should not be applied anymore. In addition, benching/evolving/devolving should now remove said effect appropiately.
  • Sword & Shield Series
    • Added Basic Energy cards from SSH! (credit: @scoot404)
    • VMAX Pokémon should no longer be marked as Stage 1, fixing multiple issues related to it (e.g. DItto Prism evolving to them). (credit: @Lithogen)
  • EX Series
    • Imprison and Shock-wave are now implemented! They still need a proper in-game marker, but for now an action allows each player to check for a Pokémon having either of them.
      • This makes Gardevoir-ex δ, Tyranitar-ex δ and Tropius δ (all from Dragon Frontiers) fully functional!
    • Ditto (Fire Red Leaf Green) should now properly replace itself with a Pokémon in its owner’s discard pile. This fixes multiple issues related to the card. (note: some effects may still be removed, this is a known bug happening on multiple cards.)
    • Lugia-ex (Unseen Forces) now offers a more versatile choice regarding which energy to discard, this should fix reported issues regarding this card and Holon’s Castform.
    • Multiple fixes for Legend Maker were applied, beyond the ones mentioned below.
    • Applied some erratas:
      • Now Mantine (TRR 45) can only use Ripples from the Active Position.
      • Mt. Moon (FRLG 94) now affects Pokémon with 70 HP or less, instead of just less than 70.
      • Electrode-ex (FRLG 107) now counts Energy cards discarded instead of total Energy.

General changes
  • Multiple Special Energy cards now have improved detection regarding when must they be discarded. This should fix multiple fixes (for example, the different Extra Energy Bomb iterations.) (credit: @starg09)
  • Multiple “x Pokémon is/will be Knocked out” are now targeted, meaning they can be effectively blocked when appropiate. (credit: @starg09)
  • Generalized all uses of “Foresight” (Looking at either player’s top x cards from their deck, and rearranging them). Should now work more consistently and correctly across many cards. (credit: @starg09)
  • Fixed some labels used in multiple areas (including the Deck Creator). Should now use clearer terms for some card types like “Pokémon-GX” instead of “Pokemon Gx”.
  • Attempted to fix some cards throwing Out of Bounds Errors. Main case being Zacian V.
Sword & Shield Series changes
  • Horror [P] Energy (Rebel Clash) now checks it still being attached before applying its effect. (credit: @flagrama)
  • Horror [P] Energy (Rebel Clash) should stop being ignored by Metal Goggles. (credit: @starg09)

EX Series changes
  • Debug text for VS Seeker and Banette-ex should now be removed. Both these cards recently got a fix so they properly count the supporter played on the same turn. A major update to how Supporters are handled in this era is planned, but this should help for now! (credit: @Mt.gufo)
  • Added clearer messages on a multitude of cards (credit: @Frosty)

  • Mew δ (POP Series 5) now only attaches energy to itself. (credit: @starg09)
  • Dark Pupitar (Team Rocket Returns) does its damage before evolving through Explosive Evolution. (credit: @starg09)

v46.8 Patch Notes

Major updates

  • General Changes
    • All cards from Shiny Vault that weren’t legal in the 2019-2020 Standard format have now been effectively banned. These cards should remain playable in both the Expanded and the 2018-2019 Standard formats. (Credit: @lithogen)
    • A fix has been applied regarding effects that “switch 1 of your opponent’s Benched Pokémon with their Active/Defending Pokémon”. Previously these switches could only be blocked by the Active Pokémon, which isn’t the intended behaviour; with this update the switch is targeted on the Benched Pokémon, and only those can block it from happening.
      • As a bonus fix, multiple cards that depended on that switch to be successful for a secondary effect to happen (LM Roselia’s Flick Poison, BUS Guzma’s own Pokémon switch) now work correctly.
      • Update: There’s a bug regarding some effects and special conditions not being removed on certain switch-to-bench situations (remaining on the now benched Pokémon, when they shouldn’t). This is known and a fix is in the works!
    • A big number of effects that reside on an specific Active Pokémon are now removed upon devolving. This should fix a significant amount of bugs that were reported, thanks for sending them in!
    • A majority of cards have now been updated so the opponent’s hand is shown in a random fashion. This solves potential exploits related to seeing the hand through some effect, then abusing that info on what should’ve been a blind pick of cards. Just as a note, this is only fixed for FRLG-DP, and SUM-RCL. Please report if you see someone using BW/XY or early EX era cards trying to play around this (they should also be fixed in the near future).
  • XY Series
    • A fix has been pushed for Wally (Roaring Skies) and Brigette (BREAKthrough). They should no longer have issues on selecting a Pokémon during search. (Credit: @lithogen)
  • EX Series
    • Some specific prints of cards now work correctly, using the same internal logic as the already-working prints (Credit: @lithogen). Cards affected:
      • Darkness Energy (Ruby & Sapphire)
      • Wally’s Training (Sandstorm)
      • Double Rainbow Energy (Team Magma vs Team Aqua)
    • Update: The fix above wasn’t pushed for this update, should be available in the next one!
    • Multiple fixes for Holon Phantoms and Crystal Guardians were applied, beyond the ones mentioned below.
  • Wizard Era Sets
    • The switch caused by Double Gust (Neo Genesis) should now be detected as Trainer-sourced, and not blocked as an attack effect. (Credit: @lithogen)
    • Fixed a crash related to Pokémon Breeder Fields (Neo Revelation) (Credit: @lithogen)

General changes
  • Some GX attacks are now properly triggered as used (when previously they would potentially not count as being used, even though they should’ve.)
  • Multiple “you can only use 1 [name] each turn” Abilities and Poké-Powers should now be restricted more consistently. This affects:
    • Raichu ex (Emerald)
    • Solgaleo (Cosmic Eclipse)
    • Leavanny (Unified Minds)
    • Jolteon (Cosmic Eclipse)
    • Flareon (Cosmic Eclipse)
  • “Shady Move” is now detected as an ability-sourced effect. It should no longer be blocked as if it were the effect of an attack. Affects:
    • Typhlosion δ (Dragon Frontiers)
    • Banette-ex (Legend Maker)
    • Chandelure (Guardians Rising)
    • Banette-GX (Celestial Storm)
Sword & Shield Series changes
  • Galarian Runerigus (Rebel Clash) now applies its counters one by one, and doesn’t KO Pokémon immediately.
  • Cramorant V (Sword & Shield) now discards its energies after dealing damage.
Sun & Moon Series changes
  • Stealthy Hood (Unbroken Bonds) now properly ignores the ability of Vileplume from Burning Shadows.
  • Victini (Guardians Rising) should now properly ignore trainer-based flips. Note that it still checks for opponent-based flips (e.g. Whimsicott-GX’s Ability), this is a known bug.
  • Latias & Latios-GX (Team Up) can now only attach basic Energy cards with Aero Unit GX; in addition, they’ll no longer get the secondary effect due to extra energy being attached during the attack itself.
  • Naganadel-GX (Unified Minds) and Xurkitree-GX (Ultra Prism) no longer shuffle the opponent’s prizes after adding a card to them.
  • Alolan Muk (Sun & Moon) should no longer cause a NPE when played on top of Ditto Prism Star (Lost Thunder).
  • Latios-GX (Unified Minds) (or any Pokémon copying its “Tag Purge” attack) should lose its Tag Team immunity upon switching or evolving.
EX Series changes
  • Strange Cave (Legend Maker) should now work correctly.
  • Latios δ and Latias δ (Delta Species) should now have their “Dual Aura” Poké-Body working properly.
  • Space Center (Deoxys) should now re-check abilities upon being removed.
  • Shiftry ex (Crystal Guardians) got its secondary weakness added, and most of its logic reworked (Credit: @Frosty and @starg09)
    • This means it should block Coming-Into-Play Powers now.
    • In addition, it should no longer activate just after being Imprisoned by Gardevoir-ex δ.
    • Dark Eyes now ignores Baby Evolution as well.
  • Swoop! Teleporter (Team Rocket Returns) now searches for the replacement Pokémon before selecting a Pokémon in play for it to replace. (Credit: @Frosty)
  • Great Ball (FireRed & LeafGreen) now shuffles after searching.
  • Heal Energy (Deoxys) and Cyclone Energy (Unseen Forces) should no longer be treated as attack-sourced effects, meaning they won’t be blocked as such anymore.
  • Pidgeot (Holon Phantoms) can no longer attach the same energy it discarded as part of Rotating Claws.
  • Mysterious Fossil (Power Keepers) should now work as all other prints from the era (instead of like the Wizards era prints).
  • Holon’s Castform (Holon Phantoms) can now be played only when you have some Delta Pokémon in play.
  • Charizard δ (Crystal Guardians) now allows to choose which energies to attach out of those found in the top 5 cards looked through its “Peal of Thunder” Poké-Body.
  • Venusaur δ (Crystal Guardians) now properly converts [C] energy to [G] energy on a 1-on-1 basis (instead of just turning all of them into a single [G]. For example, now Boost Energy transforms into [G] [G] [G] instead of only [G]. And Multi Energy is a rainbow when no other special energy are attached, but [G] otherwise with the body enabled.
  • Crystal Beach (Crystal Guardians) now has priority over Poké-Powers and Poké-Bodies, as described in rulings from the era. It should override the affected special energies into [C] no matter what (e.g. Venusaur δ shouldn’t work on those energies)
  • Memory Berry (Crystal Guardians) now only takes attacks from a Pokémon’s Basic and Stage 1 cards. Should make it work better with LV.Xs and BREAKs in the future.
  • Poké Park (Pop Series 2) should now only heal on the first attachment.
  • Roselia (Legend Maker) now heals on every Pokémon Checkup, and not just on half of them.
  • Fixed some remaining cards that didn’t yet check for Dark Pokémon properly (should now exclude Pokémon like Darkrai)
  • Added checks for some EX Series tools so they check for them being attached to a valid Pokémon after an evolve, devolve or being moved due to an attack. Affects:
    • Cessation Crystal (Crystal Guardians)
    • Mysterious Shard (Crystal Guardians)
    • EXP.ALL (FireRed & LeafGreen)
    • Cursed Powder (Unseen Forces)
    • Energy Root (Unseen Forces)
    • Fluffy Berry (Unseen Forces)
    • Protective Orb (Unseen Forces)
    • Sitrus Berry (Unseen Forces)
    • Solid Rage (Unseen Forces)
  • Energy Root (Unseen Forces) and Cessation Crystal (Crystal Guardians) should no longer block Poké-Powers triggered by themselves evolving into a Pokémon-ex.
  • Mew ex (Legend Maker) can now use “Versatile” on LV.X Pokémon (only the ones from DP, as a workaround that’s also applied to other cards with “Copy”/“Metronome” attacks).
  • “Can’t play any Supporter cards next turn” attacks (See: Limitation, Bother) should no longer be removed upon the attacker being switch or evolved. It’s an effect on the opponent, not on said Pokémon.

As always, if there are more bugs that we have missed, please report them on the forums using the red flag button in-game! Currently these are not being posted on the forums itself, but the devs still receive and work on these

v46.9 Patch Notes

Major updates

  • General Changes
    • A fix has been applied regarding gusting effects not removing special conditions from the now-benched Pokémon. (Credit: @lithogen)
      • Another patch should come soon, fixing some other effects that aren’t being properly removed in a similar way (e.g. “can’t attack next turn” effects not removed after being benched by a Boss’s Orders).
    • Some formats have been updated, removing non-legal promos and adding sets that were missing (Example: Standard 2016-2017 now supports Burning Shadows). (Credit: @lithogen)
  • Sun & Moon Series
    • A new format has been added: “SUM_ALL”. This non-sanctioned format uses SM rules (Player going first can play supporters turn 1), and allows use of any card from “Sun & Moon - Base Set” all the way up to “Sun & Moon - Cosmic Eclipse”, alongside all “SM Black Star” Promos. (Credit: @lithogen)
  • Diamond & Pearl Series
    • Just a small news for DX-on: PlusPower (Diamond & Pearl - Base Set) has been re-implemented for this specific print, should now apply damage before Weakness/Resistance and be properly handled on discard/scoop-up.
  • EX Series
    • Some specific prints of cards now work correctly (for real this time :P), using the same internal logic as the already-working prints (Credit: @lithogen). Cards affected:
      • Darkness Energy (Ruby & Sapphire)
      • Wally’s Training (Sandstorm)
      • Double Rainbow Energy (Team Magma vs Team Aqua)
      • Combusken (Ruby & Sapphire)
      • Blaziken (Ruby & Sapphire)
      • Gardevoir (Ruby & Sapphire)
      • Delcatty (Ruby & Sapphire)
      • Slaking (Ruby & Sapphire)
      • Magneton (Dragon)
      • Omastar (Sandstorm)
      • Wobbuffet (Sandstorm)
      • Machamp (Hidden Legends)
      • Lanturn (Hidden Legends)
    • Multiple fixes for Dragon Frontiers and Power Keepers were applied, beyond the ones mentioned below.
    • Fixed multiple checks from cards looking for “Holon Energy”. These should work properly again now!

Sun & Moon Series changes
  • Leafeon-GX (Shiny Vault) should no longer be playable as a Basic.
  • Yveltal-GX (Forbidden Light) should now prevent you from using your GX attack on a Pokémon without 4 counters on it.
  • Hala (Guardians Rising) should no longer be playable when you have no hand and no deck.
  • Missing Clover (Ultra Prism) should no longer be playable when you have no deck. In addition, no choice should be given when you can only pick one of the two options. (e.g.: Having 4 in hand, and no deck, you shouldn’t be able to pick looking at the top of the deck.)
  • Koga’s Trap (Unbroken Bonds) should now check if it can be played more accurately. It should no longer be playable if the opponent’s Active Pokémon is already Confused and Poisoned (unless there’s an “additional Poison counters” effect.)
    • This should be allowed normally, but the impact of this change should be relatively minor. At some point in the future all GX attacks should be playable for no effect, once a global confirm is added to them before attacking.
HeartGold & SoulSilver Series changes
  • Fixed an Engine Error caused by Jirachi (Unleashed).
EX Series changes
  • Strange Cave (Legend Maker) should now work correctly. (for real this time :stuck_out_tongue:)
  • Island Hermit (Dragon Frontiers) should now allow to flip only 1 prize instead of 2 no matter what; in addition, you can now play the card to draw 2 even if all your prizes are flipped up (as indicated by a ruling).
  • Holon Transceiver (Delta Species) should no longer ask for a choice when you can only search a Holon Supporter from your deck.
  • Delcatty-ex (Crystal Guardians) should no longer force a player with exactly 6 cards to discard a card from hand.
  • Potion and Energy Switch (FireRed & LeafGreen) should now check for having valid Pokémon in play before playing them, and no longer be playable to no effect.
  • Vileplume Delta (Holon Phantoms) should stop causing an Engine Error when checking for Extra Poison before using its Poké-Power.

Click on a series to view changes!

Sun & Moon Series changes

  • DItto Prism Star (Lost Thunder) should no longer be able to use “Almighty Evolution” on the same turn it’s devolved.
  • DItto (Detective Pikachu) should now be able to copy an attack from any of the opponent’s Pokémon, not just the Active.
  • Machoke (Guardians Rising) should now be able to block damage counters coming from the opponent’s Pokémon’s attacks and abilities.
    • As a side-effect, counters placed by your own Pokémon’s abilities will also be blocked. This is a known bug that also affects Metal Goggles and Omega Stop cards, and should be fixed in a future update.
  • Dusknoir (Cosmic Eclipse) should count as ability-sourced Damage Counters when its ability triggers. They were treated as attack-sourced before.
  • Carracosta-GX (Sun & Moon Black Star Promos) should no longer cause an Engine Error when using Stone Age GX.

Other changes

Click on a series to view changes!

General changes
  • Some EX era trainer cards are now marked as items, and thus selectable by attacks like “Errand-Running” from Budew (Diamond & Pearl - Base Set).
  • Redirected the “Legend Maker” and “Sun & Moon - Base Set” prints of Rainbow Energy so they’re a copy of the “Celestial Storm” print.
    • Known issue: Currently Rainbow Energy counts as every energy type while on deck or hand. This should be fixed in an upcoming update, at least for prints depending on the Celestial Storm print (the prints from the BW/XY eras may not work properly as quickly, until updated to also take the CES print as reference.)
Sun & Moon Series changes
  • Cyrus Prism Star (Ultra Prism) now only shuffles the deck once, once all affected Bench Pokémon are moved to it.
  • Tapu Lele (Sun & Moon Promo SM45) now replicated it’s Fairy-type reprint from Ultra Prism, and doesn’t knock out Pokémon in the middle of swapping damage counters around.
    • Known Issue: Card is currently crashing, should be fixed in the next patch!
  • Misty & Lorelei (Cosmic Eclipse) now properly asserts all potential conditions:
    • It can always be played as long as you have deck in order to search.
    • You cannot use the second effect if you don’t have enough cards in hand, or haven’t already used your GX attack.
    • Should properly impede from using when you have no deck, and neither 5 cards to discard nor a used GX attack.
    • If you have no deck but can fulfill the second effect, it should directly ask for the cards you want to use to pay the cost.
    • One more subtle change: If after playing the card for its second effect you attempt to make a non-W Pokémon use a GX attack, it will give a more detailed warning.
  • Dialga-GX (Forbidden Light) should now allow the play of a supporter in the second turn, applying a fix that was missing from this print (and was already applied in the Ultra Prism version).
  • Improved how “Electro Rain” works in Alolan Raichu (Unified Minds). Still not perfect (should allow to pick how many energies a multi-energy like Counter Energy should use), but now it should at least count all energy instead of all energy Cards.
  • Mimikyu (Cosmic Eclipse) should now apply its “Shadow Box” Ability when damage counters are placed.
  • Sudowoodo (Guardians Rising) should now properly apply its ability’s restriction (and not override other, smaller effects such as Parallel City or Bellelba & Brycen-Man.)
  • Lillie’s Poké Doll (Cosmic Eclipse) now has a proper name for its action, referring to it being sent to the player’s deck’s bottom instead of being discarded.
  • Greninja (Unbroken Bonds) should no longer throw an Out of Bounds exception when using its “Bring Down” attack.
  • Metal Frying Pan (Ultra Prism) should no longer reduce the damage done by “swift” attacks.
EX Series changes
  • Delcatty (Ruby & Sapphire) should work correctly again. The other card of the Pokémon in the set should now be the one marked as a copy of its Power Keepers reprint.
  • Sandslash δ (Delta Species) and Pikachu δ (Nintendo Black Star Promo 35) should now be recognized as Delta Pokémon for cards that check for that attribute.
  • Lanturn (Hidden Legends, Power Keepers) should now ask the correct player for which energy to move.
  • Here Comes Team Rocket! (Team Rocket Returns) is now marked as a Supporter, and should be detected/selectable by cards that look for such.
  • Shiftry-ex (Crystal Guardians) should no longer cause a crash related to “Dark Eyes” and Aipom (Unseen Forces) using its “Snappy Move” Poké-Power.
  • Rayquaza δ (Delta Species) should now properly check for itself regarding its Poké-Body (used to affect other Rayquaza if trying to attack, then switching.)
  • Boost Energy (Deoxys, Unseen Forces, Dragon Frontiers, Pop Series 5) should now give a proper warning when attempting to retreat, explicitly referring to the Energy preventing it.
  • Electrode-ex (FireRed & LeafGreen) should no longer allow picking the same energy over and over again, effectively doing infinite damage.
  • Similar fixes were applied to Articuno-ex, Moltres-ex and Zapdos-ex (FireRed & LeafGreen). These should only move basic Energy cards now, alongside some other minor fixes to the cards.
  • Latios δ (Delta Species) should now properly check for Evolved Stage 2 Pokémon in order to do damage with its “Psychic Force” attack.
  • Omastar (Legend Maker) should no longer crash when attacking.
  • Chimecho δ (Holon Phantoms) should detect the played supporters more consistently now.
  • Kingdra-ex δ (Dragon Frontiers) should now recover its weakness instead of permanently losing it when attacking with “Protective Swirl”.

This was a hotfix for a crash regarding switching while affected by a Special Condition.

v46.13 Patch Notes

A lot of changes in this one!

Major updates

  • QoL Changes
    • The bug reporting feature should be working with the forums again. Thanks for all the reports during this downtime, as a final reminder all of them still reached the devs. With this fix though, we’ll be able to give a more public response to issues, as well as allow people to see already-known bugs. (credit: @admin)
  • General Changes
    • Implemented DP era rules into the engine, and applied them to the DX-On format:
      • The player going first draws a card on their first turn again.
      • However, said player cannot play any Trainer, Supporter or Stadium cards during that first turn.
    • Setup rules regarding the initial coin flip timing, and determination of the player going first should now work consistently across formats. Please report if you noticed any that should work differently!
      • WotC era: Flip after setup is finished, Winner must go first.
      • EX era: Flip after setup is finished, Winner chooses who goes first.
      • DPPt/HGSS/BW eras: Flip after setup is finished, Winner must go first.
      • XY-onwards: Flip before starting setup, Winner chooses who goes first.
    • Implemented Lucario Spirit Link (XY Promo XY211), and added it to all Standard formats it was legal in (2016-2017 and 2017-2018); also added it to Expanded.
    • Updated the PRC-on (Standard 2016-2017) format:
      • It should no longer include the Kalos Starter Deck cards in the Deck Builder (which weren’t legal).
      • Now supports all SM Black Star Promos that were legal at the time of Worlds (Tapu Lele SM45 not included, as it wasn’t legal at the time due to a release delay).
    • Applied fixes for most of the remaining bugs related to effects not being removed from a Pokémon after it being “gusted” to the bench.
      • Anything starting from Sun & Moon should be working properly.
      • A future update should apply similar fixes to some remaining cards from Expanded.
    • Several cards that prevent Special Conditions from being applied to them should now apply said prevention only to the affected Pokémon, fixing some bugs that were recently reported.
    • Attacks that prevent the use of supporters or trainers should now ignore Abilities that play trainers as their effect.
      • Click here to see all affected cards
        • Sableye (Deoxys) [“Limitation” Attack]
        • Electrike (Deoxys) [“High Voltage” Attack]
        • Psyduck (Team Rocket Returns) [“Headache” Attack]
        • Walrein-ex (Power Keepers) [“Chilling Breath” Poké-Power]
        • Exeggutor (Plasma Freeze) [“Blockade” Attack]
        • Krookodile (XY - Base Set) [“Bother” Attack]
        • Sableye (Guardians Rising) [“Limitation” Attack]
        • Whismur (Celestial Storm) [“Bawl” Attack]
        • Walrein (Cosmic Eclipse) [“Cold Snap” Attack]
        • Vibrava (Cosmic Eclipse) [“Unnerve” Ability]
        • Alolan Golem-GX (Crimson Invasion) [“Heavy Rock GX” Attack]
        • Pyroar (Forbidden Light) [“Unnerve” Ability]
        • Ribombee (Lost Thunder) [“Mysterious Buzz” Ability]
        • Psyduck (Team Up) [“Headache” Attack]
        • Articuno (Team Up) [“Blizzard Veil” Attack]
        • Galvantula (Team Up) [“Unnerve” Ability]
        • Kabutops (Team Up) [“Fossilized Memories” Ability]
        • Umbreon & Darkrai-GX (Unified Minds) [“Dark Moon GX” Attack]
        • Axew (Unified Minds) [“Unnerve” Ability]
      • This still doesn’t fully fix said supporter-through-ability/attack effects counting as trainer-sourced effects, but should allow powers such as Milotic δ (Dragon Frontiers)’s “Sharing” to function at all against these.
    • Cards with a “Scoop Up” effect will now be playable when you only have 1 Pokémon in play. However, a warning will be made about how you may lose the game due to playing it (and allowing you to cancel the action).
    • The Deck Builder will now properly forbid players from saving decks with more than one Pokémon Star. Existing decks shouldn’t be affected, although they will also throw an error when trying to start a match with them until modified.
    • Also in the Deck Builder, these restrictions have been updated:
      • You can only include either “Professor Juniper”, “Professor Sycamore” or “Professor’s Research” in your deck (up to 4 copies of whichever card you choose, but only that one). The first two were already restricted, with the latter being added to the same restriction.
      • You can only include either “Lysandre” or “Boss’s Orders”, but not both. Again, you can have 4 copies of whichever card you pick, but only that one.

General changes
  • A message is now displayed when poison is increased in a passive way. This includes:
    • Weezing (Vending Machine)
    • Virbank City Gym (Plasma Storm)
    • Seviper (Burning Shadows)
    • Toxicroak (Sword & Shield - Base Set)
  • Attacks that use the “put damage counters in the opponent’s Pokémon” static should now check for Pokémon being in the area (mainly for when counters are placed in bench only). This should fix a timeout bug due to no valid target being selectable, specifically in Dragapult VMAX (Rebel Clash).
  • Fixed Rainbow Energy, Double Rainbow Energy, R Energy and Dark Metal Energy counting as their energy types while in hand when they shouldn’t.
  • Fixed multiple “You can evolve this Pokémon in your first turn” Abilities. All now make a message in log, but also are restricted to its owner’s turn (currently can be played on opponent’s turn)
  • Inverted a check in the engine, which caused some custom error messages to not be used (and would send an empty “” string when no custom message was given).
Sword & Shield Series changes
  • Updated Frosmoth (Sword & Shield - Base Set) to work similarly to Porygon-Z (Unbroken Bonds) and Blastoise-ex (FireRed & LeafGreen).
  • Fixed Torkoal V (Sword & Shield - Base Set) so it discards Energies after damage is applied.
  • Added some missing asserts Gengar (Sword & Shield - Base Set).
  • Bisharp (Sword & Shield - Base Set) should no longer cause a crash when you have no Benched Pokémon.
Sun & Moon Series changes
  • Tapu Lele (SM Promo SM45) should stop crashing after using Magical Swap, after adding a missing def .
    • Made it so both this one and the Ultra Prism print no longer allow moving a counter from a Pokémon to the same one (which didn’t make a lot of sense)
  • Staraptor (Crimson Invasion) should now switch due to KO only once when using “Sky Hunting”.
  • Updated Magnezone (Ultra Prism, Forbidden Light) to work similarly to Porygon-Z (Unbroken Bonds) and Blastoise-ex (FireRed & LeafGreen).
  • Frogadier (Unbroken Bonds) should no longer crash when “Afterimage Strike” flips heads.
  • Added some missing asserts for Feraligatr (Dragon Majesty)*, Quagsire (Dragon Majesty) and Weavile (Unified Minds).
XY Series changes
  • Dangerous Energy (Ancient Origins) should now work properly, after applying some fixes already made on Horror [P] Energy (Rebel Clash) some updates ago. (credit: @flagrama)
  • Croagunk (Steam Siege) should now apply an active increase in the Defending Pokémon’s poison counters, instead of applying a passive increase.
Black & White Series changes
  • Togekiss (Plasma Storm) now handles targeted effects similarly to how contrib PR #891 handled it for another card.
EX Series changes
  • Multi Technical Machine 01 (POP Series 2) now works as a copy of Expedition again, until TMs can be implemented in Groovy.
  • Espeon Star (POP Series 5) should now confuse both Active Pokémon, instead of only the opponent’s.
  • Ancient Technical Machine Rock (Hidden Legends) should now put the devolved card into said card’s owner’s hand, instead of the opponent’s.
  • Koffing (Team Rocket Returns) should now only activate “Knockout Gas” when it’s the Active Pokémon.
  • Venture Bomb (Team Rocket Returns) should now allow placing the counter on benched Pokémon, instead of always in the Active one.
  • Fixed Full Flame (Legend Maker) not preserving the Burned condition on evolve/devolve.
  • Dragonite δ (Delta Species) should no longer be able to use “Delta Charge” when no [L] Energy is found in the discard pile.
Wizards Era changes
  • Butterfree (Neo Destiny) no longer offers Burned as a potential Special Condition choice (making it work as the card text reads).
  • Added a bc for Porygon (Team Rocket). Not really a major change, and it’s a groovy set not currently being used but might as well add it :stuck_out_tongue:
