[BR] The mulligan bug referenced in my earlier post exists across

The mulligan bug referenced in my earlier post exists across multiple formats, as seen in 40 games of Base–Fossil. Again, a deck with 1 Basic Pokémon will never take a mulligan unless the opponent also takes a mulligan.

To test this, I played a deck with 1 Mewtwo and 59 Psychic Energy. The Mewtwo deck only took 1 or more mulligans in 8 games, and all 8 of these games saw the opponent mulligan as well.

In 60 more tests I was not able to have one person mulligan while the other didn’t. Tests were done with 60 card decks consisting of 5 basic pokemon and 55 basic energy cards.

A few months ago, @starg09 was able to improve the mulligan system by showing mulligan hands to both players. Previously, all that was displayed was a chat notification that a player took X mulligans.

When this change was implemented, I wonder if some kind of coding error made it so that mulligans by one player are disregarded and never acknowledged so long as their opponent’s opening hand contained a Basic Pokémon.

For example, in all the games I played with my 1 Mewtwo deck where I took 0 mulligans, there may have been times when I mulliganed 3,4,5+ times, but since my opponent’s opening hand had a Basic, it just disregarded these and skipped to the hand that finally contained a Mewtwo.
