PlusPower (UL 80). In this format I should be able to attach Pluspower to a pokemon, like the diamond and pearl era variant of the card. However, it went straight to the discard pile

Can someone explain me what is this about? I see UL print came after DP and it has the same text as BS one.

Pluspower in 2010 format should follow the text of the DP print. The site uses a scan for the UL version that had updated text to match the BLW version. The original UL printing of pluspower matches the DP version.

TY for the clarification. That sounds quite unusual, what do you mean by “original UL print”? Can you supply HQ images of the original UL prints? For some reason, all major sites I’ve checked contains non-DP version or in very low resolution.

pokemon card scan resources typically scrape HGSS onward card images from PTCGO & now PTCGL because those scans are released officially for free in consistent high quality, so there became no reason to manually scan physical cards from this point forward. also, if a card was ever errata’d, PTCGO would update that card’s image in-game to reflect the errata (you can see this on scans of BLW pokemon catcher and UL rare candy for example). in this case, UL pluspower was errata’d when BW came out to match the BLW printing so the PTCGO scan only ever read as the one from BLW did. these are probably the highest quality scans of the original prints available, from pokemon paradijs https://pkmncards.com/pokemon-paradijs.zip

any format that includes unleashed, but before black and white comes out. for now just HGSS block and 2010, but also MD-COL if it releases

Unrelated Q; should the BLW version increase damage to own Active pokemon as well (i.e. self damage)? It reads:

During this turn, your Pokémon’s attacks do 10 more damage to the Active Pokémon (before applying Weakness and Resistance).
