My opponent used Max Phantom and put damage counters on my benched Ninetales V, knocking it out. During my following turn, I tried to use Oricorio-GX’s Dance of Tribute ability but it did not let me (I can’t remember what the yellow text box said, that might have helped…) I should have been able to use Dance of Tribute since there’s no limitation–nothing like the ko’d Pokémon having to be active or ko’d by regular damage instead of counters. The card text just says “if any of your Pokémon were Knocked Out during your opponent’s last turn”.
Edit: I played Oricorio onto the bench the same turn I tried to use the ability. It was not on the bench during my opponent’s turn like I originally said.
